2027: Omo-Agege’s significant impact is enough to become next Governor of Delta State – Macaulay

Former Secretary to the Delta State Government and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isoko Nation, Comrade Ovuzorie Macaulay has lauded the significant impact of former Delta Central Senator and Deputy President of the 9th National Assembly, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege.

According to Comrade Macaulay, Sen. Omo-Agege has made a significant impact of not just attracting a Federal Polytechnic Orogun in Delta Central, Federal Medical and Health Sciences Kwale in Delta North but also gave the Isoko Nation a Senator Representing Delta South Senatorial District presently, making him having a sense of spread to become the next Governor of the State.

Comrade Macaulay gave this charge in Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State during the Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege’s interactive stakeholders leaders meeting in Isoko Nation.

He noted that there could be no other way to appreciate the Senator than to choose him to become the next Governor of Delta State, to attract more realistic developments to every part of the State.

The former labour leader emphasized saying, “Politics has always been local and as a person anywhere in this country, if you cannot win your Units, Wards or Local Government Councils during an election you can never be a leader or a politician.”

In his remarks, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege thanked the Isoko Nation for coming out en masse to give the APC over 25,000 votes during the 2023 general election and also asked the Isoko Nation to question Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration of the huge funds coming into the State with little to show the people for it.
