Delta Assembly Probes Warri College Official

The Delta State House of Assembly has taken up a fresh petition alleging years of systematic victimization and career sabotage against Mr. Ebikabowei Kedikimo, a Principal Assistant Registrar at the College of Education, Warri.

Presenting the petition during Wednesday’s plenary session on February 24, 2026, Hon. Ebitomo Anthony Alapala, member representing Burutu State Constituency I, presened claims that Kedikimo has suffered prolonged injustice since 2016.

According to the petition, the affected officer’s long-overdue promotion was abruptly withdrawn that year. He has since been allegedly barred from holding any administrative role or contesting for elective positions within the institution.

The alleged punitive measures, the lawmaker told the House, stemmed from Kedikimo’s involvement in the affairs of the College of Education Warri Demonstration Secondary School Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Ltd.

Presiding over the session, Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, Esq., described the matter as weighty and immediately referred the petition to the House Committee on Public Petitions for detailed investigation and appropriate legislative intervention.

The Deputy Speaker reiterated the Assembly’s determination to uphold fairness, due process, and accountability in Delta’s tertiary institutions.
