ADC in Delta State Welcomes Decampees from Opposition Parties

African Democratic Congress (ADC), has received over three hundred decampees from opposition political parties in Delta State.

While receiving the decampees, ADC National Chief Whip, Elder Festus Igbinoba, charged them to register with the party at the grassroots level starting from their wards to their local government areas.

He urged them to participate actively in the membership drive to grow the party at the wards and units levels.

Elder Igbinoba, who said that ADC has been in existence since 2006, commended members of the party for their efforts in keeping the party afloat over the years.

He stated that the idea of ADC stems from giving voice to the voiceless, assuring that ADC is well-positioned to rescue Nigeria come 2027.

Delta State Chairman of ADC, Mr Austin Okolie represented by the Delta Central Chairman, Sir Obukokhwo Doghor, enjoined the decampees drawn from coalition of various political parties and pressure groups in Delta State to know that the party does not discriminate, adding that ADC prioritises opportunities for youths and women.

Convener of some of the pressure groups who recently defected to the ADC, Architect Julius Akpovoka and his counterpart, Mr Fortune Oyoghoba, promised to reach out to members from other political parties and woo them to the ADC.
