APC Defection: Wherever Sheriff goes, I go – Agofure

The Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Mr. Onoriode Agofure has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Agofure during a phone conversation with YourCitiNews Correspondent, Frederick Umuerure said, “On Sheriff’s mandate, I stand and I move.” Emphasizing loyalty, purpose, and a deep rooted belief in the leadership that aligns with the people’s aspirations.

Agofure made it clear that his support for Sheriff Oborevwori is not just political, it is personal.

“I and my household move with purpose. I move with conviction, behind a leader whose vision mirrors the hopes of the people. Sheriff is not just a name, but a mandate built on trust, experience, and clear direction.”

He described the Sheriff mandate as a movement grounded in values, not ambition.

“This is a crucial time of political recalibration. We stand firm in our support and move forward under Sheriff’s leadership,” he said, stressing unity and shared resolve.

According to the Commissioner, his alignment with Sheriff transcends politics.

“With Sheriff, it’s not just about me or my followers—we are all believers in Oborevwori and his cause. His mandate is our mandate. His values are the foundation of our movement.”

He underscored that their commitment is rooted in principle.

“I move as one—guided by integrity, unity, and a shared mission. This is about serving people, not self-interest. Sheriff represents leadership that inspires and delivers.”

Speaking on the decision to align with the All Progressives Congress (APC), Agofure clarified, “This move is not out of convenience, but out of conviction. The APC is poised to harness the strength and vision we bring. This is more than a shift, it’s a new chapter of progress and development.”
