In furtherance of his humanitarian service, the Chief Executive Officer of Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation, Chief Wilson Ejeben, on Monday flagged off his annual welcome back to school distribution of free education materials to public schools across Udu, Ughelli South and Ughelli North Local Government Areas.
Flagging off the distribution at Evwrirhe and Aladja Model Primary Schools, Chief Ejeben said the initiative is to support the government to enable every child to have access to quality education.
The appearance of the Chief Executive Officer of the Wilson Brume Ejeben Foundation, Chief Wilson Ejeben, at Evwrirhe, Aladja Model, Epame and Ayama Primary schools, as well as Aladja Grammar School, brought happiness and hope to both learners and teachers.
Presenting notebooks and school bags to the learners, Chief Ejeben, who is the Isio of Udu Kingdom, said the gesture is an annual initiative to support the government in assisting indigent learners to resume school like others.
Chief Ejeben emphasised that the free distribution of books and bags is devoid of any political colouration, saying his philanthropy is a way of appreciating God’s benevolence in his life. He admonished the learners to pay serious attention to their studies as education is the key to a brighter future.

Chief Ejeben also commended the teachers for their efforts and passion in their chosen career and called on other well-to-do individuals to contribute to making education accessible to all.
The Secretary of the Local Education Authority in Udu Local Government Area, Honourable Eki Afuevure, thanked the donor, Chief Wilson Ejeben, for using his resources to better humanity, highlighting his regular maintenance of the Udu bridge.
