Guwor Congratulates King Timiyan on 20 Years of Peaceful and Progressive Reign in Ogulagha Kingdom

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated the Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom, HRM Elder Capt. King Joseph Timiyan, Torububou I, on the 20th anniversary of his coronation, expressing optimism for continued unity and prosperity in the oil-rich kingdom.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, Speaker Guwor praised the monarch’s two decades of visionary leadership, highlighting a reign characterized by peace, progress, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

He noted that under King Timiyan’s guidance, Ogulagha Kingdom has experienced significant development and strengthened communal harmony, making the traditional ruler a beacon of stability and unity in Burutu Local Government Area and beyond.

“On behalf of my constituents and the Delta State House of Assembly, I congratulate His Royal Majesty, Elder Capt. King Joseph Timiyan, Torububou I, on this remarkable milestone of 20 years on the throne,” Guwor said.

“Two decades of purposeful leadership demonstrate his unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and the promotion of Ogulagha’s rich cultural heritage,” he added.

As National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, Guwor also commended the monarch for his efforts in fostering development and ensuring the welfare of his people.

He prayed for the king’s continued good health, divine wisdom, and long life to guide the kingdom toward even greater achievements.

“The majestic king, whose presence commands as much respect as his authority, deserves every blessing to continue his noble service to his people,” Guwor said. “May God grant him the grace to rule in peace and strength.”

Guwor also extended his congratulations to the people of Ogulagha Kingdom, urging them to maintain their loyalty and support for their royal father as he continues to lead them with wisdom and foresight.
