Deaconess Oborevwori distributes 500 uLesson tablets to Students

Wife of the Delta State Governpr, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, on Thursday, distributed 500 uLesson tablets to students in public primary and secondary schools across the state.

The ceremony, was a collaborative effort between the Renewed Hope Initiative and the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Speaking during the event, held at the Government House, Asaba, Deaconess Oborevwori said that the initiative is part of a broader mission to equip students with the tools needed to succeed in a digital world.

The founder of the ‘You Matter Charity Organisation’ expressed hope that the gesture would improve the academic intellect especially among underserved children.

Earlier, the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Catherine Onyeme, described the initiative as a reflection of the administration’s commitment to empowerment.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs. Rose Ezewu, appreciated Deaconess Oborevwori and the First Lady of Nigeria for uplifting the younger generation.

Beneficiaries appreciated Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori and also to the First Lady and her partners for the life changing opportunity.

The event featured the distribution of 500 uLesson tablets to students, gas ovens for bakers, grinding machines for traders, and cash grants to support small businesses.
