Delta community receives free healthcare services

In a bid to give back to the society, Mr. Ekos Akporkabayen in collaboration with the Udu Local Government Council, Delta State, has given over one thousand residents in the community free medical services, including free drugs.

Dr. Precious Oghenetekevwe Delekpe from Udu Kingdom, a medical practitioner while speaking to Newsmen, during the medical outreach, in Owvian Community Town Hall, Udu LGA, Delta State, noted that the free medical services is targeted at those who couldn’t afford medical care like the elderly and also children in various communities of Udu LGA.

Dr. Delekpe while commending Mr. Akporkabayen for the kind gesture, called on the people that are sick to always visit the hospital for medical attention, saying that health is wealth.

Also speaking, former Commissioner for Special Duty in Delta State, Dr. Henry Sakpra posited that the gesture by Mr. Ekos Akporkabayen is to ameliorate the health challenges facing the people of Udu community, by providing free medical health care services.

Meanwhile, some of the community leaders and beneficiaries commended the initiative by Mr. Akporkabayen for the health care support given to them at this time, when many of them can’t afford most of the drugs.
