Delta Deputy Governor Pays Condolence Visit to Nwaoboshi Family

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., has  paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.

The former Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaobosh died few days ago.

During the visit to the Senator’s residence in Asaba, Sir Onyeme, accompanied by a retinue of political office holders, said that he was shocked to receive news of the passage of the renowned politician.

According to him, “This is one death too many; I was shocked when I heard the news, but no one plays with death.”

He urged  Mrs Judith Nwaoboshi, wife of Senator Nwaoboshi, to take solace in the fact that her husband lived an impactful life and was a respected politician.

“Death is inevitable; it has happened and we cannot question God.

“Take heart and be strong for your children,” the Deputy Governor said.

Mrs. Nwaoboshi thanked him for the visit.

Deputy Governor Onyeme also signed the condolence register, writing: “My elder brother, your memory will forever live in my heart.

“May your gentle soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.”

Others who had signed the condolence register included the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay, and Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon.
