The Delta State Police Command has announced that physical and credential screening will begin for candidates shortlisted in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force.

The screening exercise is scheduled to hold at the Cenotaph in Asaba from Monday, March 9, 2026, to Friday, April 18, 2026.

In a statement released to journalists in Warri on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, explained that the exercise will be carried out by the Police Service Commission (PSC) in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). He noted that applicants will be screened according to the specific date and time stated on their invitation slips.

Candidates who applied for the recruitment are required to appear at the venue with all necessary documents for verification as part of the selection process.

The recruitment is part of a nationwide initiative by the federal government aimed at increasing the workforce of the Nigeria Police Force and improving internal security across the country.

Applicants have been urged to strictly follow the screening schedule and comply with all guidelines to avoid disqualification.
