The Divisional Police Officer of B Division Warri, CSP Josephine Ekebuike has pledged to ensure the safety of lives and properties in her area of jurisdiction.
CSP Josephine Ekebuike made the pledge during a familiarisation visit to the Unuvwodo of Edjeba Community, Chief Cashier Ikpuri, President General of the community Sir Dafe Ikpuri and his executives
The Divisional Police Officer of B Division Warri, CSP Josephine Ekebuike told the leadership of the Edjeba Community that her visit was to familiarize with them and explore ways of collaboration in riding the community of criminal elements.
She noted that the fight against crime is a collective one and urged the leaders of the Edjeba Community to fight against the usage and sales of hard drugs, cultism and other violent acts.
While urging them to report anyone with questionable character to the Police and avoid jungle justice, CSP Josephine promised to work with the community leadership in ensuring the safety of lives and properties noting that community policing is the best form of security.
Responding, the Unuvwodo of Edjeba Community Chief Cashier Ikpuri thanked the Divisional Police Officer for the visit aimed at fostering a strong relationship between the police and the community.
He promised to give all necessary support to the Police to ensure the safety of lives and property in the community noting that the Edjeba Community is one of the peaceful communities in the state.

President General of the Edjeba community, Sir Dafe Ikpuri promised to ensure law and order in the community noting his leadership has zero tolerance to criminal activities.
Councilor Representing Edjeba Ward 10 in the Legislative Arm of Warri South Council Hon. Eriye Terence-Erere, commended the DPO for the visit noting that such pragmatic engagements are result oriented.
