Ekredjebo Community Crisis: Chairman Egbo intervenes, ensures peaceful resolution

Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Egbo KSC, Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, has intervened in the Ekredjebo community crisis, which arose from disputes over youth elections.

As part of his efforts to resolve the issue, Jaro Egbo has established modalities for conducting free fair and credible elections.

In addition to setting out election guidelines, the Council boss also granted His Royal Majesty, the Ovie of Ughelli Kingdom request to hold a meeting with the community. This meeting aims to address concerns and foster a sense of unity among community members.

Chairman Egbo’s swift response to the crisis demonstrates his commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Ughelli North Local Government Area.

His leadership and mediation efforts have been instrumental in resolving disputes and promoting development in the region.
