ESUT Alumni Association, Delta State Names TANTITA MD, Kestin Pondi, as Grand Patron.

Members of the Enugu State University of Science & Technology (ESUT) Alumni Association, Delta State Branch, have named the Managing Director of TANTITA Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, as their grand patron. This honor recognizes his significant contributions to educational development in the country and his financial support to the alumni members.

At an emergency meeting held in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, members appointed High Chief Pondi as the Grand Patron of the ESUT Alumni Association, Delta State Branch.

Alumni leaders Comrade Phillip Ophilus and Comrade Harrison Itulua led the delegation that informed him of his appointment during the several-hour-long meeting.

High Chief (Engr.) Pondi warmly accepted the role, stating that he could not turn down the honor because the university played a foundational role in his education.

He praised the effort to strengthen the Alumni in his community and urged its stakeholders to lead by example, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability.

In a conversation with our correspondent in Warri, Comrade Harrison Itulua, who is the National Public Relations Officer of the Citizens Rights Concern Enhancement Initiative (also known as the Human Rights Protection Congress), highlighted High Chief Pondi’s long history of philanthropy. He said, “High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi has been supporting students since his university days and continues to help humanity without discrimination.”

Comrade Itulua also thanked him for accepting the position and prayed for God’s blessings, guidance, good health, and protection over High Chief Pondi and his endeavors.
