The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, has once again demonstrated his administration’s commitment to excellence, this time on the global stage.
Governor Oborevwori, alongside his Taraba State counterpart, Dr. Agbu Kefas, is among the high-profile participants at the ongoing 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF), taking place in Macao, a Special Administrative Region of China.
At the forum, Governor Oborevwori showcased Delta State’s strategic initiatives aimed at elevating infrastructure development in line with internationally accepted standards. In his remarks, he reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to delivering high-quality and sustainable infrastructure that supports economic growth and enhances the quality of life for all residents of Delta State.

The Governor’s address was a clear invitation to global investors and development partners, signaling Delta’s readiness to collaborate with international stakeholders and implement innovative solutions for the state’s development agenda.
Governor Oborevwori’s participation in the IIICF reflects Delta State’s forward-thinking approach to infrastructure and its ambition to become a prominent player in global investment and innovation.
Now in its 16th edition, the IIICF is the most influential annual gathering focused on international infrastructure cooperation. The forum attracts over 3,500 delegates from more than 70 countries and regions, including over 60 ministerial-level delegations. Over the past 15 years, the IIICF has served as a premier platform for government agencies, financial institutions, engineering and construction firms, design and consulting companies, and equipment manufacturers to share insights, explore opportunities, and build strategic partnerships.
Governor Oborevwori is accompanied at the forum by the Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural and Riverine Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, and his Technical Assistant, Mr. Bob Nakpodia.
