Group Backs Tompolo, Rejects Pipeline Surveillance Accusations

The 21st Century Youths of Niger Delta and Agitators with Conscience (21st CYNDAC) has categorically denied recent accusations of power manipulation and abuse directed at High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, and Tantita Security Services.

The organization criticized statements suggesting that Tompolo is exploiting his role in pipeline surveillance to target competitors and strengthen his grip on profitable security contracts.

21st CYNDAC labeled these allegations as unfounded and misleading, asserting that no amount of propaganda or character assassination will hinder the progress made under Tompolo’s guidance in the Niger Delta.

“The fabrications propagated by Ebikimen Tokowei from the so-called faceless Niger Delta Mandate Group, as well as the false narratives from the Ekeni Eleven, will not prevent Tompolo or Tantita from fulfilling their responsibilities, which include combating oil theft and unmasking the backers of criminal activities threatening the peace and development of the Niger Delta.

“These individuals are being manipulated by discontented former militant leaders from Bayelsa State, who are envious of Tompolo’s achievements and aim to sully his reputation.

“The untruths spread by the Ekeni Eleven reflect profound jealousy and desperation. Their financiers, unable to secure federal contracts through legitimate means, have turned to smear campaigns and blackmail,” the organization stated.

Focusing on Tompolo’s accomplishments, the group commended his partnership with Nigerian security forces in tackling insecurity, piracy, pipeline vandalism, and economic sabotage in the area.

They asserted that his professionalism and efficiency have resulted in the continuous renewal of his security contracts by the government.

“Tompolo’s journey to both national and international acclaim has been founded on determination, selfless dedication, and an unwavering devotion to Nigeria. These exceptional traits have garnered him well-deserved respect and acknowledgment,” the group remarked.

21st CYNDAC condemned certain former militant leaders for forming a “toxic alliance” with oil thieves and adversaries to undermine the operations of Tantita Security and seize contracts in Bayelsa State for their illegal oil bunkering activities.

“We urge President Bola Tinubu to ignore these groups’ antics. In Tompolo, we recognize a figure of transformation whose achievements outweigh the discordant voices attempting to discredit him.”

Reaffirming their backing, the group declared: “The way forward is evident—endorse effective leadership, safeguard national assets, and honor the progress made under the guidance of visionary leaders like Tompolo.

“21st CYNDAC wholeheartedly supports High Chief Government Ekpemupolo and Tantita Security. Ebikimen Tokowei must cease spreading falsehoods and partaking in malicious activities or face the consequences.”
