Hon. Omonade gives out free JAMB forms in Ughelli, says youths are wealth of the nation

Member Representing Ughelli North Constituency I in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Matthew Omonade has said that the greatest strength and wealth of any nation are the youths.

Omonade emphasized that the future of such nation lies in its youth population. Hence for proper nation building, an investment in the education of the youths is advisable, not just in Delta State but Nigeria at large.

Hon. Matthew Omonade gave this charge while speaking with YourCitiNews Correspondent in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State during the “Omonade Free JAMB Preliminary Test and Form Collection Exercise” in Orogun, Agbarah, Evwreni and Ogor, all in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the State.

Omonade noted that the free JAMB exercise has been ongoing for over six years. The positive feedback from the indigent beneficiaries has been encouraging from students and parents, especially children who never dreamt of going to school.

Omonade, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Public Petitions, explained that this year’s annual free JAMB exercise involved testing to enable the prospective students be more serious with their studies.
