Hoodlums led by one Rich Otokwame aka Chinaranbo have allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl (name withheld) to coma in Oghara Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
The incident occurred December 8, 2024, according to reports.
The suspect is currently in detention at the Oghara Police Division.
In a text message, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report. The message read: “Confirmed.”
Human right activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who hinted our correspondent about the incident, urged the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, and the Police authorities to ensure that the suspect and his gang members are duly prosecuted according to extant laws.
