The Igholuck Foundation founded by Former House of Assembly Aspirant in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Ighoyota Lucky has hailed the performance of Delta Students for emerging champions at the just-concluded World Schools Debate Championship held in Doha, Qatar.
Comr Lucky in a statement lauded the outstanding performance of the Students and their teachers, pledging that the Igholuck Foundation will donate the sum N50, 000 each to support and encourage the educational pursuit of the students with their teachers inclusive.
“It gives me great joy to learn of the remarkable performance of our students at the world event. Delta State overtime is a State that breeds intellectuals and wherever we go, we always stand out.
“To see these young minds making us proud outside the shores of Delta State and Nigeria gives me immense hope for the future.
”On behalf of myself and the IGHOLUCK FOUNDATION, we want to make a pledge of N50, 000 (Fifty thousand Naira) each for all participating students and their teachers inclusive.
”This token is our own way to show the students how proud we are of their achievement and also to spur them to work harder in their educational pursuit as we see great hope in our future through their intellectual prowess”. He concluded.
