Joel-Onowakpo Thomas appoints 11 Liaison Officers in Delta South Senatorial District

Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, the lawmaker representing Delta South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has appointed eleven Liaison Officers in the eight Local Government Areas of the District.

The names of the appointees was announced by the Senator on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.

According to Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, the Liaison Officers, “were carefully selected based on their track records and grassroot involvements, interacting directly with the people.”

Whilst noting that the eleven Liaison Officers will work in synergy and report to the Delta South Senatorial Management Committee, DSSMC, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas stated: “This role comes with weighty responsibilities and it requires them to exercise their leadership qualities, their ability to galvanize and mobilize human and capital resources for the good of the constituents.

They are also to identify and document all Federal Government projects, coordinate project supervision where required and report promptly through the appropriate channels.”

The Liaison Officers, whose appointments are with immediate effect, include:

1) Hon. Joseph Ekiyor — Patani LGA (Ijaw)

2) Odume Jeffrey Omire — Warri North LGA (Itsekiri)

3) Hon. Agbanifo Yerin Egbede — Warri North LGA (Ijaw)

4) Mr. Jerry Omumu — Warri South West LGA (Itsekiri)

5) Owan Peter Kimiebi — Burutu LGA (Ijaw)

6). Isaac Awotu Okperi — Isoko South LGA (Isoko)

7) Hon. Alex Abriku — Isoko North LGA (Isoko)

8) Mr. Benjamin Omosowhofa Eboh — Warri South LGA (Urhobo)

9) Engr. Mofe Nobi — Warri South LGA (Itsekiri)

10) Emeleakpo Igbomene — Warri South West LGA (Ijaw)

11) Hon. Funakpo Narebo — Bomadi LGA
