Motorcycle rider, passenger die in auto crash in Ughelli

A commercial motorcycle rider and his passenger have been killed in an accident involving a bus belonging to a transport company in Delta State.

The incident occurred along the Ughelli/Warri expressway in Ughelli North Local Government Area.

The driver of the bus was said to have fled the scene when he discovered that the two persons were motionless.

Some commercial motorcycle operators who spoke on the incident, said the driver of the bus, who was speeding, lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the motorcycle, killing the rider with his passenger.

They advised motorcycle operators to always maintain caution.

As at the time of filing this report, the lifeless body of the victims were still on the highway.
