National Youth Games: 12-year-old multiple Gold medalist from Team Delta begs Oborevwori for Scholarship

12-year-old gymnast, Ogechukwu Stephanie, who won four gold medals in three apparatus of the Gymnastic event of the 7th National Youth Games, has pleaded for Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to make her dream come true by offering a scholarship to complete her education.

The gymnast who is the toast of Team Delta, dedicated her four gold medals to Governor Oborevwori and hopes to win more in her remaining three games.

”I worked very hard during training and I am happy and thank God that I am dedicating these gold medals to the Governor of MORE Agenda, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori “, she said in an interview with topsportsafrik.com at the Games.

Little Ogechukwu Stephanie, a senior secondary 1 pupil who will be turning 13 years old tomorrow, Saturday, 30th September 2023, wished that the Delta state Government grant her a scholarship and guide her to the highest level of her gymnastics career.

”I will be turning 13 year old on Saturday 30th September and I wish the Delta state government to grant me a scholarship and support my gymnastics career to the highest level. I see small children like me on television winning gymnastics gold medals for their respective countries. I believe I can also do it for Nigeria,” gushed the determined gymnast.

Ogechukwu Stephanie will complete her other three games on Saturday when the National Youth Games come to an end.
