Nigerian Army rescues 4 kidnapped victims In Delta

The Nigerian Army has rescued four kidnapped victims at Ugbolu forest, near Asaba the Delta State capital.

Troops of the 63-Brigade of the Nigerian Army after getting intelligence report about the activities of some suspected kidnappers raided their hideout and successful rescued the four victims who had been kidnapped.

The Army personnel engaged the suspected kidnappers in a fierce gun battle, over powering and compelling them to abandon their captives, as they scampered into the thick forest.

All abductees were rescued unharmed.

The rescued victims are in safe custody where they are receiving necessary care and support.

Meanwhile the troops are on the trail of the fleeing kidnappers as the Army has urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to security agencies.
