The Nigeria National League (NNL) is scheduled to conduct its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, serving as a precursor to the 2025/2026 season at the Chuckker Resort in Kaduna State. This meeting will gather delegates and representatives from the 36 clubs participating in the upcoming season.
During the AGM, discussions will focus on the league’s format and style. The rules and regulations governing club participation for the season will be reviewed and ratified.
This meeting is essential for ensuring the new season is organized smoothly.
NNL Chairman, Nigeria National League, highlighted the significance of engaging with all clubs, noting that the meeting will allow for a review of the previous season and the identification of areas needing improvement.
Intending to ensure the season commences and concludes on designated dates, the NNL aims to align closely with the current schedule of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The AGM will be instrumental in laying the groundwork for a successful season. His Excellency Governor Senator Uba Sani of Kaduna State, the chief host and special guest of honor, is anticipated to officially open the AGM.
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Sports Development, Professor Benjamin Kumai Gugong, along with the Commissioner for Local Government Area Matters, Sadiq Mamman-Lagos, will accompany the governor.
The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, is also expected to attend the AGM, accompanied by his General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, and Babagana Kalli, an executive member of the NFF who also serves as the Chairman of the Match Commissioner and Security Committees of the NFF.
