Nwoko, Delta North Ward Leaders Chart Fresh Course for APC’s Growth

In a renewed effort to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta North, ward chairmen from the senatorial district led by Ossai Jude Ossa of Ika North East LGA held a strategic meeting with the Senator representing Delta North, Distinguished Senator Ned Munir Nwoko.

The meeting, which brought together chairmen from all 98 wards in the district, created an important platform for direct engagement between the Senator and the party’s grassroots leadership.

The atmosphere was filled with optimism and a shared resolve to deepen the party’s presence across the region. Conversations focused on revitalizing the APC’s organizational structure, improving internal coordination, and aligning the Senator’s legislative and developmental agenda with the mobilization responsibilities of the ward chairmen. Participants agreed that the party’s long-term strength depends on a well-organized and vibrant ward system.

In his keynote remarks, Senator Nwoko praised the chairmen for their resilience, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the party. He described the ward level as the heartbeat of political participation and the first link between the people and government, stressing that any party seeking relevance must continually invest in its grassroots leaders.

The Senator further highlighted that his development plans for Delta North spanning infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and community development require strong ward structures capable of engaging residents and reflecting local needs. He urged the chairmen to remain united, focused, and strategic in mobilizing support for the APC and pushing the district’s collective goals forward.

Senator Nwoko also reaffirmed his intention to keep the partnership with ward leaders open and active, noting that their feedback is crucial for effective governance. He assured them that this meeting marks the beginning of continuous consultations designed to reposition the party for future electoral success.

Responding, the ward leaders thanked the Senator for his inclusive leadership and for consistently recognizing the importance of grassroots contributors. They pledged their loyalty and promised to intensify efforts to strengthen the party’s structures within their various communities.

The engagement ended on a positive note, with renewed confidence that Delta North is moving into a new phase of strategic organization, unity, and political cohesion anchored on genuine collaboration between Senator Nwoko and the APC ward leadership.
