Oborevwori, Davido, Simi, Dignitaries Grace Lavish Traditional Wedding of Tosan Ejiro Ikuku and Adetayo Samson

The city of Uvwie,  Delta State, came alive on Saturday as culture, glamour, and star power converged for the traditional wedding of Miss Tosan Ejiro Ikuku, daughter of billionaire industrialist Chief Michael Ikuku, and her groom, Mr. Adetayo Samson.

The lavish ceremony, hosted at the Cedar Event Center, Delta State, drew an impressive guest list from politics, business, and entertainment. Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, led the delegation of dignitaries, joined by the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, commissioners, and other top officials.

Their presence underscored the Ikuku family’s towering influence across the state.

Guests dazzled in resplendent traditional attire, turning the venue into a kaleidoscope of Nigerian culture.

The couple’s union was sealed with symbolic rites and blessings, while family members and elders performed age-long customs that added authenticity to the glamorous affair.

Adding global star appeal, Afrobeats megastar Davido stormed the reception after a trip from Ghana, thrilling the crowd with back-to-back hits in a performance that had guests dancing late into the night.

Songbird Simi lent her soulful voice to the celebration, while Nollywood icons Aki and Pawpaw mingled warmly with attendees. Socialite Cubana Chief Priest also added his signature flamboyance to the high-profile guest roll.

The reception mirrored luxury at its finest, featuring a feast of delicacies, live band performances, and a packed dance floor.

Tosan, radiant in bespoke attire, and Adetayo, elegant in his regalia, exchanged vows amid cheers, music, and blessings that echoed through the hall.

More than a wedding, the event spotlighted Warri as a hub of Nigeria’s social scene, seamlessly blending tradition with modern glamour.

Congratulations poured in for the newlyweds, whose celebration will be remembered as one of Delta’s most iconic nuptials.
