Oborevwori Praises O’tega Emerhor’s Contributions as He Marks 68th Birthday

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, as he marks his 68th birthday.

The Governor described Emerhor as a distinguished Nigerian whose impact in business, finance, and politics continues to inspire many across the country.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori praised Emerhor as a turnaround expert, seasoned venture capitalist, and top-tier accountant whose achievements in the banking and financial sector remain outstanding.

He noted that Emerhor, a technocrat and politician from Evwreni in Ughelli North Local Government Area, has earned national recognition for his leadership roles particularly as Managing Director of the former Crystal Bank and later First Atlantic Bank, where his vision and professionalism helped reposition both institutions for growth.

Although they have belonged to opposing political camps in the past, the Governor acknowledged Emerhor’s steadfast commitment to democratic principles and grassroots development. He added that Emerhor’s constructive contributions to national conversations have distinguished him as a true statesman.

“As a politician, you have continued to advance the interests of our party by offering leadership at different levels, especially in Ughelli North and across Delta Central,” the Governor said. “Your dedication to service, philanthropy, and community development remains deeply commendable.”

He wished Emerhor continued good health, long life, and greater achievements as he continues to contribute to the development of Delta State and Nigeria.
