Oborevwori to commission Kwale-Beneku bridge – Ossai

The Senior Special Assistant on media to the Delta State Governor Mr Ossai Ovie Success said that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is set to commission the newly completed Kwale-Beneku bridge.

According to Ossai on his social media pages ,the commissioning ceremony will mark the governor’s two-year anniversary in office.

He said the bridge linking Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East Local Government Areas, has brought significant relief to residents who previously relied on canoes, boats, or pontoons for transportation.

“These watercraft often posed risks and challenges, particularly during periods of bad weather.

The new bridge has not only improved safety but also reduced travel time and enhanced economic activities in the area.

The multi-billion Naira project is a testament to Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to keeping his campaign promises. “

Ossai lauded Governor Oborevwori for his dedication to delivering tangible benefits to the people of Delta State.

He also commended the immediate past governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, for initiating the project and applauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for demonstrating a sense of continuity and collaboration in governance.

The Kwale-Beneku bridge according to Ossaj is expected to boost economic growth, improve access to social services, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents in Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East LGAs.

“Its commissioning will further demonstrate Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to infrastructure development and his focus on delivering projects that benefit the people of Delta State.

  1. Good job. How much did it cost? Who was the contractor? How long did it take? What about the operations and maintenance phase; do we have plans for post-construction maintenance?
