Otovwodo Flyover Will Ease Traffic – Ovie of Orogun Kingdom

His Royal Majesty, Dr. Andy Kayoma Osawota Adaka, Adaka First, the Ovie of Orogun Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Otovwodo Ughelli Flyover Bridge, which took place on Monday, January 12, 2026.

The traditional ruler described the event as a clear demonstration of the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development across Delta State.

According to Adaka First, the Otovwodo Flyover project is yet another addition to the numerous landmark projects being executed by the Oborevwori administration, noting that the governor has continued to leave visible footprints of development in different parts of the state. He described Governor Oborevwori as one of the best-performing governors in Nigeria, particularly in the area of infrastructure, citing the scale and spread of ongoing projects across Delta communities.

The monarch called on Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Oborevwori, describing him as a broad-based and people-oriented All Progressives Congress (APC) governor whose leadership style has brought development closer to the grassroots. He emphasized that continued public support would further encourage the governor to deliver more impactful projects for the benefit of the people.

Adaka First also expressed optimism about the positive impact of the Otovwodo Flyover Bridge upon completion, noting that it would significantly ease traffic congestion at the busy Otovwodo junction, improve vehicular movement, and enhance the overall aesthetics of the area. He added that the project would contribute to economic growth and improve the daily lives of residents and road users within Ughelli and its environs.
