Petroleum Training Institute matriculates 1,625 students

The Petroleum Training Institute PTI, Effurun has assured it will continue in it’s constitutional responsibility of producing the adequate man power needed to drive the nation’s oil and gas industry.

The Institute on Friday, March 28 matriculated one thousand, six hundred and twenty five students (1,625) students.

The Principal and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, Engr (Dr.) Samuel Onojah, in his address during the Institute’s matriculation ceremony in Effurun said the strategic role of the petroleum sector to the well-being of the country means that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that only the best hands are provided for the sector.

He disclosed that the Institute has established International partnerships and collaboration to boost research, curriculum and facilities.

While urging the matriculants to maintain the high discipline and academic standard of the school, Dr. Onojah reminded them on the need to take advantage of the Federal Government’s Students loan scheme, NELFUND to avoid financial distractions.
