Prof. Edozien decries marginalization of Delta North from ministerial nominees list

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state and one of the leaders of the party in Delta North Senatorial District, Professor Leroy Edozien has emphasized his displeasure over the fact that the two ministerial nominees; Hon. Stella Okotete and Festus Kayamo (SAN) are from the same senatorial district (Delta Central) as Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and party chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie.

He advised the president to remedy the situation.

Professor Edozien made this disclosure in an interview with journalists in Asaba, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to demonstrate his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda by removing any iota of marginalization from Delta North Senatorial District in nominating another minister from Delta North.

He said, “this is just not about ministerial appointments. It’s the wider issue of marginalization. So going forward, Mr President should acknowledge to the people of Delta North and Delta South Senatorial Districts a mistake has been made nominating from one Senatorial District”.
