Remi Tinubu Support Organisation Delta North Chapter roots for Tinubu and Oborevwori

The second-term re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori have gained further momentum in the state as members of the Remi Tinubu Support Organisation (RETSO), Delta North Chapter, formally endorsed both leaders.

The endorsement took place in Kwale during the group’s first physical meeting and the inauguration of RETSO coordinators for the eight local government areas across the Delta North Senatorial District.

The Inauguration of Remi Tinubu Support Organisation, RETSO, Local Government Areas Coordinators for Delta North Senatorial District, was a gathering of well-known political grassroots mobilizers and canvassers from the Senatorial District.

Inaugurating the coordinators, Delta state Coordinator of RETSO Ambassador Rita Obiyen represented by the State Patron and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Political Matters, Hon Collins Mukoro said the group which has earlier inaugurated the local government areas coordinators for Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts, is aimed at mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

She noted that the group has carefully selected experienced and trusted grassroots mobilizers to coordinate its activities from the Local Government Areas to the wards and units.
Ambassador Obiyen urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to hit the ground running by embarking on a door-to-door campaign for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

She noted that President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori have made it easy with their laudable programmes and policies geared towards improving the standard of living for the common man.
Ambassador Obiyen thanked the National President of the group, Alhaji Yusuf Buba and the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo for their support to the group.

RETSO Coordinator for Delta North Senatorial District, Mr Ben Elu appreciated the state Coordinator for her commitment towards the ideals of the group and assured her that the group will deliver President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.

He noted that President Bola Tinubu had done well in repositioning the country on a path of economic recovery and sustainability, and the excellent performance of Governor Oborevwori has endeared them to the hearts of Deltans.
The newly inaugurated LGA coordinators later appreciated leaders of the group for the confidence reposed in them promising to work assiduously towards the objective of the group.

The high point of the ceremony was a motion to adopt President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori as consensus candidates for the president and governor elections in 2027, moved by Mr Victor Okwuepusu from Ndokwa West Local Government Area, seconded by a women leader, Comrade Patricia Ekezue, which was unanimously adopted by all present after being put to a voice vote.

The inauguration of the local government chapters coordinator for Delta North forms a strong political strategy of the Remi Tinubu support organisation in ensuring a smooth electioneering process for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.
It would be recalled that, Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts of RETSO had earlier adopted President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as their sole candidates in the 2027 general elections.
