Resuscitation of WRPC excites Warri South Chairman, Agbateyiniro

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, has expressed excitement following reports that the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company, WRPC, has been resuscitated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL.

Recall that the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, Mele Kyari, during a tour of WRPC earlier on Monday December 30, announced that production had commenced at the refinery.                            

The Warri South Local Government Boss, in his reaction, described the development as reassuring, saying the task of resetting the Nation’s economy on a progressive path, is on course.

Whilst commending the management of NNPCL for the feat, Comrade Agbateyiniro enjoined the company not to rest on its oars ,until WRPC works to its fullest capacity.

He tasked all stakeholders, including people of the host and surrounding communities to sustain the enabling environment for WRPC to compete favourable with its contemporaries.
