Sen Dafinone Felicitates With Oborevwori, Deltans on 34th Anniversary of State Creation

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the 34th anniversary of the state’s creation, calling it a time for both celebration and reflection.

n a message celebrating the anniversary, Dafinone praised the impressive progress Delta has made since its creation in 1991. He highlighted how the state has grown in peace, unity, and development despite facing challenges, and expressed his belief that the best is yet to come for Delta.

He praised Governor Oborevwori for his dedication and commitment to moving the state forward through his Renewed Hope for More Agenda, calling it a driving force behind people-focused programs and projects that are steadily transforming communities throughout Delta.

Dafinone encouraged all Deltans to continue embracing the values of unity, resilience, and mutual respect that keep them connected, emphasizing that working together is essential to creating a stronger and more prosperous state.

“Delta State has recorded remarkable progress in peace, unity, and development, and I firmly believe that our best years are still ahead.

“By working collectively, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Delta State where opportunities abound for every citizen.

“As we mark this auspicious occasion, let us remain positive and united in building the Delta of our dreams,” Dafinone added

The senator also sent his heartfelt congratulations to Deltans living abroad, urging them to stay committed to their shared vision of a state built on justice, peace, unity, and sustainable development.
