Tantita MD Empowers 80 Entrepreneurs

Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Ebimobowei Pondi, has awarded ₦800 million to 80 Nigerian entrepreneurs under the second edition of the Kestin Pondi Business Grant, in what many described as a remarkable act of generosity aimed at supporting small businesses.

The empowerment event took place on March 9, 2026, at MBB Consortium and marked another important step in promoting entrepreneurship and economic empowerment in Nigeria.

For this edition, the grant given to each beneficiary was increased from ₦5 million to ₦10 million, a development that brought excitement and appreciation from the recipients.

The programme also received additional support from notable figures, including High Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, and Chief Festus M. Ochonogor. Each of them donated ₦100 million, helping to expand the initiative and increase the number of beneficiaries to 80.

The Chairman of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, Shedrack Agediga, said the initiative has made a meaningful difference in the lives of many people.

According to him, the programme is doing what many governments struggle to achieve by helping individuals move from the streets into productive business activities.

He expressed appreciation to Chief Kestin Pondi for choosing to empower people and support their livelihoods.

Agediga also emphasized that the selection process was transparent and fair, noting that it reflected credibility and inclusiveness.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Salamacu Muhammed, a mother of six, also commended the transparency of the programme. She thanked the organisers for the opportunity and promised to use the grant to grow her businesses and create employment for others.
