Ughelli North: Beneficiaries of Monthly Stipends Laud Agofure

The Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, was warmly appreciated by beneficiaries in Ughelli North Local Government for his steady payment of monthly stipends.

This gesture is seen as part of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda and aligns with the Renewed Hope vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

A total of 122 beneficiaries have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, thanking him for his unwavering support over the past one year and five months through the consistent payment of monthly stipends.

The coordinator of the 122 beneficiaries of Hon. Onoriode Agofure’s monthly stipends, Hon. Friday Onoriode Gbagbeke, said it was important to show appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner for Transport for consistently bringing smiles to his people over the past seventeen months.

Hon. Gbagbeke, speaking on behalf of the 122 beneficiaries, praised Hon. Onoriode Agofure and noted that if other elected officials and appointees could follow his example, there would be far fewer complaints from the electorate.

Hon. Gbagbeke appealed to both elected and appointed officials to take a cue from Hon. Agofure’s monthly stipend initiative. He noted that while he coordinates the 122 beneficiaries, Hon. Agofure is also quietly supporting other empowerment programs behind the scenes. He added that the beneficiaries remain loyal to Governor Oborevwori’s administration.

Chief Francis Onobruchere, popularly known as Famark and former DG of Hon. Onoriode Agofure’s Campaign Organization, praised Agofure for his unwavering commitment. He noted that the consistent payment of monthly stipends is clear proof that Hon. Agofure is a man who keeps his promises.

Onobruchere, while praising Hon. Agofure’s generosity and kindness since the start of Governor Oborevwori’s administration, emphasized that the regular payment of monthly stipends shows he is always committed to supporting his people.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Hon. Gbagbeke and Chief Onobruchere prayed to God Almighty to continually guide, protect, and lead Hon. Agofure in all his responsibilities as Commissioner in the Ministry of Transport.
