The Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths (UIY) has completed a tour of Itsekiri communities across all four zones of Warri Kingdom, aimed at promoting unity and developing employment opportunities for young people in the region.
Led by President Comrade Joseph Okotie, the UIY team visited communities in Warri North, Edo, Delta Central, Warri South-West, and Warri South, engaging with local leaders and youth representatives to discuss strategies for youth empowerment and regional development.
The tour followed UIY’s inaugural National Congress, which brought together community leaders and youth representatives to discuss ways to support the group’s administration and promote socio-economic growth in the kingdom.
During the tour, UIY officials met with local leaders to address pressing issues such as job creation, security, and collaborative development. The delegation also reaffirmed their commitment to cultural preservation and regional cooperation.
The tour concluded at Ugbuwangue Community in Warri South, where UIY leaders and community executives discussed plans to unify youth organisations, enhance employment initiatives, and foster socio-economic growth across the kingdom.
UIY has pledged continued support for peace, unity, and youth development in Warri Kingdom, under the guidance of traditional leaders.
