Warri North Community Welcomes Governor Oborevwori’s Aide with Fanfare

It was a huge display of love and appreciation as the people of Koko Community, in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, came out in their numbers to welcome home their illustrious son, the Executive Assistant to the Delta Governor on Political Matters, and founder OMO Foundation, Dr Maurice Oritsegbegbemi Ojo-Ede.

Speaking, the Chairman of Koko Community, Dr. Chris Eburajolor said the event is to honour their illustrious son, Dr Maurice Ojo-Ede due to his outstanding philanthropy and his huge contribution to the betterment of people of Koko community.

He stressed that Dr Ojo-Ede has made the poor people to smile, recounting a lot of things that he has done for not just the people of Koko Community but also others who came across him, adding that if all Itsekiri Men are doing what Dr Ojo-Ede is doing, Itsekiri nation will be a better place were all will enjoy the fruit of their labor.

Dr. Chris Eburajolor also appreciated the Delta State Governor for finding Dr Maurice Ojo-Ede worthy of the appointment, as Executive Assistant on Political Matters, saying that they are truly proud of him.

Others who spoke including the Special Adviser to the Aviation Minister, Chief Ovuoke Oshasha, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Comrade Hope George, Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, Comrade Umukoro Uzuazomaro, Elder Omamofe Daibo, Comrade Benson Erewa, Mrs Otikpere Ada, and Mr. Amos Omaduwa, said that Dr. Maurice Ojo-Ede has done a lot for Koko Community including constructing borehole in the community, Empowerment programs, skill Acquisition programs, Jamb registration for the Timid Youths and sensitization programs in line with the MORE AGENDA of the Governor of Delta State.

They further appreciated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing him, saying that the appointment has brought the MORE Agenda to the Grassroot in the area.

In His remark, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, and founder OMO Foundation, Dr. Maurice Ojo-Ede, appreciated the people of Koko community for the show of love through the hosting, added it will spur him to do more for his people.

He then called on all to embark on the ongoing INEC registration exercise, so that they will be able to vote Governor Oborevwori and President Tinubu for them to enjoy MORE of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Dr Ojo-Ede announced that the OMO foundation will be giving out helmet to Motorcycle riders in Koko, Hooks and Fish nets to the Fishermen, Gadgets to the Vigilante group in Koko Community and also will be organising a skill acquisition program where cash will be given to the participants in form of Grant.

The Event featured Cultural display and a special presentation by Iwerre Prince.
Highpoint was the presentation of reflection helmet to the Motorcycle riders in Koko, Hook and Fish nets to the Fishermen, Gadgets to the Vigilantee and also the presentation of Skill Acquisition and Empowerment forms to both Indigenes and Non Indigenes living in Koko.
