Delta State Executive Council: Okpe Union felicitates with Jamani, Esewu

“The Okpe Union, on behalf of the entire Okpe kingdom, has felicitated with her son and daughter, Mr. Jamani Ejiro and Mrs. Rose Esewu on their appointment as Honourable Commissioners and subsequent swearing-in as members of the Delta State Executive Council as Commissioners for Environment and Basic and Secondary Education respectively by His Excellency, Rt (Hon) Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State.”

The Union said this in a statement on Wednesday signed by Okakuro Iriri King, National Publicity Secretary, for the President-General Okpe Union.

The statement continued: “Your appointment as Honourable Commissioners is a clear indication of your outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the development of Delta State. Moreover, your professional expertise will be invaluable in carrying out your current responsibilities to advance the state, as outlined in the M.O.R.E. Agenda of the Delta State Governor.”

Continuing, Okpe Union expressed confidence that their unwavering enthusiasm will enhance their determination to fulfil their respective mandates.

The socio-cultural group prayed for God’s guidance, protection and blessings as they strive to bring the benefits of good governance to the people of Delta State.

“We wish you a successful tenure in office as you serve with integrity and compassion,” the statement concluded.
