Delta State’s vision inspires MSG’s new album ‘Greatness or Nothing’

A fresh wave of inspiration is sweeping through Nigeria’s music scene as MSG, the Asaba-based collective, drops their highly anticipated album, Greatness or Nothing—a project that’s more than just music; it’s a movement.

This album embodies resilience, ambition, and the relentless pursuit of success, resonating deeply with young dreamers striving to overcome life’s challenges.

MSG has pioneered a unique sound known as Hope Music—a fusion of Afrobeat’s rhythmic pulse, hip-hop’s conscious storytelling, and gospel’s uplifting energy.

Their music delivers thought-provoking lyrics over powerful instrumentals, speaking directly to the struggles and aspirations of the youth.

More than just entertainment, their songs serve as anthems of perseverance and empowerment, inspiring listeners to chase their dreams without compromise.

At the heart of Greatness or Nothing lies a philosophy of self-belief and determination. Each track reinforces MSG’s mission: to remind young people that success is within reach for those who refuse to settle for less.

As their influence grows, the collective continues to prove that music is a powerful force for change.

In line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s vision to promote Delta State’s creative economy, MSG filmed a music video at the Film Village in Maryam Babangida Leisure Park, Asaba. This aligns with the Promoting Delta State Brand initiative, spearheaded by the SSA on Media, Lady Henrietta Enwereaku, in collaboration with Gill Network.

As the buzz around the album intensifies, MSG is capturing the hearts of fans and music lovers alike. With Greatness or Nothing, they’re not just making music—they’re issuing a challenge: dream big, push limits, and refuse to settle for anything less than greatness.

Music Symbol Gang is made up of Biggest Savage, Mariobe, Dubl X’el, 1500draco, and Lucky Wayne.
