The El-Kanemi Warriors FC, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League, will officially introduce Kabiru Dogo as their new Technical Adviser today, Sunday, 29 June, during a ceremony starting at 11:00 a.m. in Maiduguri.
A reliable source familiar with the discussions has informed analysts that Dogo, who arrived in the city on Friday, will finalize the required paperwork this morning by signing his contract in front of the club’s management.
Reports indicate that he will receive a two-year contract and has the opportunity to bring one Assistant Coach along with him.
Last season, the “Mighty Warriors” barely avoided relegation by only one point, which led the board to reorganize the technical department even before making their primary appointment.
In this interim arrangement, Mohammed Kachalla was promoted from assistant to head coach, while Ibrahim Imam A. Laji—who recently guided DMD FC to promotion from the Nigeria Nationwide League One—took on the role of assistant coach.

Ishaku Hussaini and Hussaini Yusuf were recruited from Aminu Babes and El-Kanemi Babes, respectively, to strengthen the coaching and goalkeeping teams, with the well-known ‘Casillas’ Usman Mohammed appointed as the assistant goalkeeping coach.
He has experienced substantial success with clubs like Nasarawa United, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, and Kwara United.
The leadership of El-Kanemi is hopeful that Dogo’s established ability to cultivate resilient teams and deliver steady results will be crucial in enhancing the club’s future outlook.
