Governor Oborevwori meets CCECC in China, pushes for infrastructure boost

Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has restated his commitment to global competitiveness through infrastructure and economic development.

Speaking during a meeting with the top management of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) at Beijing headquarters, the Governor presented his administration’s strategic vision under the MORE Agenda—focusing on roads, bridges, transport systems and economic diversification.

Accompanied by Commissioner Charles Aniagwu and Technical Assistant Bob Nakpodia, Oborevwori emphasized the need to open up riverine communities and attract foreign investment.

CCECC President, Chen Sichang, praised the Governor’s leadership and commitment to quality and fiscal discipline, reaffirming the company’s longstanding partnership with Delta State.
