Ikediashi Foundation Donates Food items, Cash to Ubulu-Okiti Community

In a heartwarming display of philanthropy ahead of the festive season, the Chidi Ikediashi Foundation has donated 1,000 bags of rice, 100 cartons of canned tomatoes, and N3 million in cash to the people of Ubulu-Okiti community in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The gesture, part of the foundation’s annual food and cash distribution initiative, was presented by its founder, Sir Chidi Ikediashi, who also serves as Senior Special Assistant on Tech to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Speaking during the event, Sir Ikediashi described the donation as a reflection of the spirit of love, sharing, and compassion that defines the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

“This initiative is aimed at reaching out to those in need and making a tangible difference in our communities,” he said, stressing the foundation’s commitment to uplifting the less privileged.

Beneficiaries include residents of Ubulu-Okiti, as well as individuals from the Ogwashi and Nsukwa clans in Aniocha South, and selected indigenes of Imo State, underscoring the foundation’s inclusive approach that transcends geographical boundaries.

The well-attended ceremony drew notable dignitaries and community leaders, who lavished praises on Ikediashi and his foundation for the compassionate intervention.

They hailed the growing impact of the foundation’s social programmes, noting its credibility and consistency in delivering hope to vulnerable households.

The annual initiative has emerged as a beacon of relief for many families, and this latest effort is poised to bring much-needed joy and succour to recipients during the yuletide period.
