Obi Okonjo Honours Chief Yolanda Ndudi as Onwanetilioha of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom

The Obi of Ogwashi-Uku made these remarks while conferring the chieftaincy title of Onwanetilioha of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom on Chief (Mrs.) Yolanda Ndudi at his palace in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The traditional ruler explained that the honour was in recognition of Mrs. Ndudi’s immense support to her husband, Chief (Dr.) Jude Ozah, in advancing the development of Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole.

Obi Okonjo described Chief (Mrs.) Ndudi and her husband as pillars of support to the kingdom, noting that Chief Ozah’s contributions to the growth and progress of Ogwashi-Uku remain unmatched.

According to him, Ogwashi-Uku enjoys improved security today largely due to the couple’s interventions, including their donation of vehicles, drones, and other security equipment to the police to enhance the protection of lives and property in the area and beyond. He added, “Chief (Mrs.) Yolanda Ndudi is a pride and source of joy to the Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom; she genuinely cares about our community.”

In her remarks, Chief (Mrs.) Ndudi expressed gratitude to the monarch and the people of Ogwashi-Uku for acknowledging her family’s role in the community’s development and for finding her worthy of the Onwanetilioha title. She stated that the honour would motivate her family to continue contributing to the progress of the community, the state, and the nation.

Also speaking at the event, several prominent chiefs including Chief Gabriel Ohai, the Odogwu of Ogwashi-Uku; Chief Edwin Esemezie, the Igwoba of Ogwashi-Uku; Chief Okeibunor Augustine, the Ogboli of Ogwashi-Uku; and Chief George Okafor, the Ogodilieze of Ogwashi-Uku described the title as well deserved. They praised Chief (Mrs.) Ndudi and her husband as exemplary figures and outstanding contributors to the kingdom.

Others present, such as Chief Zealiwe Ojeogwu, the Alio of Ogwashi-Uku; Chief Onyema Igbokoi; Architect Ikechukwu Odide, CEO of MIO Group of Companies; Hon. Patrick Onyekanankea; Hon. Stephen Ezediunor; and the Omu of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom, Ogbueshi Edith Rafua, also hailed the couple as beacons of hope and development.

They commended Obi Okonjo for recognizing the couple’s remarkable contributions to the community, praying for God’s continued blessings and protection over him and his family.
