Ovie of Udu Kingdom, Okporua the first, Engineer Mike Orugbo, has charged the people of the Kingdom to be united and promote the development of the area.
The Ovie of the Udu Kingdom who gave the charge while receiving the Vice President of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, Europe Leaders of Thoughts, Olorogun Richard Iyede and his wife, Olorogun Brenda Iyede, commended the Vice President of UPU Europe Leaders Forum for his unwavering commitment to the peace, unity and prosperity of Udu Kingdom.
The Udu Monarch noted that the sacrifice of Olorogun and his family is well known in the kingdom asking him not to relent in his oars.
Okporua the First noted to build a propressive Udu Kingdom is a collective responsibility of all sons and daughters of the kingdom.
Olorogun Iyede who is the Chairman Board of Trustees of UPU in Ireland expressed happiness for the emergence of Okporua the first as successor to the translated Ovie of Udu Kingdom, Owhoru the First.
For his part Olorogun Iyede said the emergence and coronation of Okporua the first resonate as the broad choice of the Udu people.
The wife of the Vice President of UPU Europe Leaders Forum Olorogun Brenda Iyede expressed optimism that Udu Kingdom will experience greater development under the reign of Okporua the first.

Olorogun Richard and his wife, Olorogun Brenda Iyede were accompanied on the visit by some eminent Chiefs of Udu Kingdom, Aladja people and friends including Brigadier General Momoh and the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre, Ovwian, Dr Kingsley Akaba.
The visit of the Vice President of UPU Europe Leaders Forum Olorogun Richard and his wife, Olorogun Brenda Iyede to the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, Okporua the first was a moment of celebration of Udu cultural heritage and strengthening of unity of purpose towards a greater kingdom.
