Gov. Oborevwori’s SSA, Ochuko Oghene empowers 5 unit PDP members with over N500,000 in Ethiope East

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oborevwori, on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Ochuko Oghene, has empowered five units members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ovu Ward 5 in Ethiope East LGA, Delta State.

Hon. Ochuko during the presentation, said the empowerment is inline with the More Agenda of Governor Oborevwori’s administration, noting that the strength of any political party lies on committed and dedicated members who believe in party’s vision and also ready to work assiduously to uphold the values of the party and ensures there is interface with the people through dialogue and total reconciliation among aggrieved members of the party in Ward 5.

He explained that no house divided against itself can stand, and for PDP to take its rightful place as the party of progress, members must set aside differences and work together.

Those empowered by the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, Hon.Ochuko Oghene with N100,000 each are; Ese Atete, unit 7 Oviorie, Ederhi Obarieru, unit 2, Oviorie, Erhiga Ayomanor, unit 4, Oviorie, Sunday Ikpesu, unit 5, Oviorie and Etubi Kennedy, unit 3 Okwidjere.

The beneficiaries however, commended Hon. Oghene for the kind gesture saying that he has taken a bold step by impacting lives positively and ensuring that some of the wrongs in the past are corrected, not just correcting the past, but he is building a future were PDP is stronger, its members are empowered and its leaders are truly accountable.

The beneficiaries also promised to show more commitment towards the progress and success of the party PDP in their various units in Oviorie.
