The College of Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments in Delta State has extended warm felicitation to the Governor of the State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori and the people of Delta State on the occasion of the state’s 33rd creation anniversary.

In a statement by the Head of Service, Mr. Reginald Bayoko, signed by the Chairman of Welfare, Dr. Ngozi Mogbolu, the College commended the Governor for his commitment to sustaining the legacies of past leaders, particularly in infrastructure development and fostering peace and unity among the state’s diverse ethnic nationalities.

The College also praised past leaders for their sacrifices, which had contributed to the state’s rapid development since its creation. They saluted Deltans, especially civil servants, for their cooperation and support, urging them to remain dedicated and display high moral and ethical standards.

The College commended Governor Oborevwori for his commitment to civil servants’ welfare since assumption of office as Governor.

They listed payment of accumulated promotion arrears, prompt salary payments, and enhanced loan packages as well as allocation of top brass official cars to Permanent Secretaries which the college said demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to the growth and development of the public service.

Pledging their support for the administration’s development efforts, the Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments prayed for continued peace, unity, and prosperity in the state just as they called on all Deltans to support the government, ensuring a brighter future for the state.
