Delta State Warns Against Fraudulent Admission List for College of Nursing Sciences

The Delta State Government has warned the public especially prospective students and their parents to ignore a false online publication claiming that the 2025/2026 admission list for the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences campuses in Asaba, Agbor, Warri, and Eku has been released.

In a special announcement issued by the Ministry of Information in Asaba, the government clarified that the report is fake. The misleading post also claimed that sales of a “supplementary admission form for the third batch” were underway, directing unsuspecting applicants to contact bogus phone numbers falsely presented as those of the school registrars.

The government explained that the fake publication was the work of fraudsters trying to extort money from unsuspecting applicants and their parents. The statement urged the public particularly those seeking admission into any of the Colleges of Nursing Sciences to disregard the false information, describing it as a calculated attempt to mislead and exploit prospective students.

The government reiterated that no payment or form of gratification is required for admission into the Colleges of Nursing Sciences, as the process is strictly handled by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in partnership with the Ministry of Health. The Commissioner for Health assured the public that investigations are ongoing to track down those behind the fake admission list and ensure they face the full weight of the law.
