He emphasized that Tompolo has always stood up for the marginalized, giving them a voice and showing what true leadership means.
“You’re not just a father figure to me personally but a beacon of hope to an entire generation. Your actions during tough times brought peace where there was conflict, and your vision continues to inspire governments and communities alike in building a better nation,” he added.
Guwor also noted the respect Tompolo commands from Gbaramatu through the wider Niger Delta area, built on years of sacrifice and dedication.
“From Gbaramatu to the creeks and beyond, your name is honored because of your sacrifices. Your people are proud to follow the path you’ve paved,” he said.
The Conference of Speakers Chairman acknowledged Tompolo’s role in stabilizing the Niger Delta and mentoring future leaders. He described Tompolo’s leadership as a standard of patriotism and meaningful service.
He highlighted that Tompolo’s investments in people and peace efforts leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
On behalf of his family, the people of Warri South West Constituency, the Delta State House of Assembly, and the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures, Rt. Hon. Guwor prayed for Tompolo’s continued strength, good health, and even greater achievements as the Ebipamowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
“As you celebrate your 55th birthday, I pray the Almighty blesses you with a long life, good health, and wisdom. May this new age bring you peace and the realization of the Niger Delta you envision.
“May your strength be renewed, and your best days lie ahead. Happy birthday to my trusted mentor and uncle,” Guwor concluded.
