Delta State Government, through the Directorate of Transport, has flagged off a statewide sensitization campaign to educate Motorcycle and Tricycle riders on the need to purchase the riders’ card, apron, emblem and sticker.
The sensitization campaign to various parks took off in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area after the expiration of a two-week extension granted by the Directorate of Transport to motorcycle and tricycle riders.

The Commissioner, represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Directorate, Mr. Vincent Omomiyi, an engineer noted that the sensitisation campaign was relevant to enforce Law M7, which stipulates that each rider should be identifiable by their apron, QR code sticker, rider’s card, and code on their motorcycles and tricycles.
