Guwor Felicitates Former Governor Uduaghan at 71

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and National Treasurer of the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has sent heartfelt congratulations to former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, on his 71st birthday.

Rt Hon Guwor praised Dr. Uduaghan as a committed public servant and visionary leader who played a key role in advancing Delta State’s development during his time as Governor from 2007 to 2015.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker also reflected on Dr. Uduaghan’s years of service as Commissioner for Health and Secretary to the State Government, highlighting the significant and impactful contributions he made to the state.

The Speaker highlighted that Dr. Uduaghan’s accomplishments during his time in office, particularly his emphasis on infrastructure, healthcare, and education, have left a lasting positive effect on the people of Delta State.

Rt Hon Guwor also praised the former Governor’s dedication to service and his people-focused style of leadership, which has endeared him to many Deltans.

On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly and the people of Warri South West, the Speaker wished Dr. Uduaghan a happy birthday, good health, and God’s ongoing guidance and protection. “We celebrate you, Sir, and eagerly anticipate your continued efforts toward the growth and development of our state,” Guwor concluded.
